Sinisa Stanic, founder and CEO of Simplex, won the 2019 Manager of the Year award in the Entrepreneur of the Year category. Croatian Association of Managers and Entrepreneurs CROMA at the end of each business year rewards successful managers and entrepreneurs in the category of large, medium, small, public and foreign companies. This is another great recognition and award for Sinisa Stanic and the company Simplex because CROMA gives rewards based of documented income statements and real qualitative performance indicators.

The members of Simplex Management Board welcome the United States Ambassador to Croatia, H. E. William Robert Kohorst. Management representatives Sinisa Stanic, Ivan Stanic and Danijel Kusljic presented the Ambassador business results, company's successes - elevator installation projects throughout Europe. The Embassy members were also presented with our production capabilities, machinery and equipment that have a capacity to perform the most demanding jobs in the high precision metal processing with an emphasis on elevator products.

REPRESENTATIVES OF THE DIPLOMATIC MISSIONS IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA VISITED SIMPLEX

Representatives of the Diplomatic Missions in the Republic of Croatia visited Simplex. Members of embassies, economics departments, chambers and attaches from almost 30 countries of the world, visited our production hall. General Director Sinisa Stanic and the Operations Director of Danijel Kusljic presented Simplex's history, previous achievements and plans for the future. Members of the Diplomatic Mission expressed their interest in the business results of the company, the elevators installation sector, business in foreign markets and the possibility of cooperating with businessmen in their countries. The meeting was organized as part of the presentation of the economic sector and possibilities of investing and potential cooperation with entrepreneurs from the Brod-Posavina County.

Simplex representatives attended a reception hosted by the Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic. The occasion was Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia. President Grabar-Kitarovic, who on this occasion congratulated all the guests on Statehood Day and said that we have achieved numerous, even epochal successes in a number of areas. She pointed out that we have a brilliant people; that we are a nation of many qualities and virtues, which we know how to display when it is most important and when they are most needed. Croatian people, she said, are synonym for optimism. Simplex CEO Sinisa Stanic met and spoke with President Grabar-Kitarovic and Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on the occasion.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA VISITED SIMPLEX

We were honoured to host the President of the Republic of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, in our Company. President decided to include Simplex as part of a Presidential visit to Brod-Posavina County. The founders of company Marina and Siniša Stanic presented the company achievements and the new production facility in Slavonski Brod.

Simplex won the award for the best middle-sized company in Brod-Posavina County. The Croatian Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce Slavonski Brod awarded the "Zlatna kuna" Award for successful business results last year. The plaque was handed over to the director Sinisa Stanic by the Deputy County Counselor Stjepan Bošnjaković and Director of the County Chamber of Commerce Kresimir Rudec. The awards were also won by the company's directors of ĐĐ Montaža, Spiroflex and ĐĐ Termoenergetska postrojenja, also for a successful business in 2017, according to the County Chamber of Commerce.

SINISA STANIC - EY ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR IN THE CATEGORY OF INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT

Sinisa Stanic won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in the category of International Achievement. The most prestigious entrepreneurial global award Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awarded the most successful entrepreneurial practices in Croatia. Today, awards are handed over to over 60 countries that make over 90% of the world economy. This great acknowledgment to Siniša Stanić was handed over by Michael Georg Müller, CEO of Raiffeisenbank Austria d.d., which as the general sponsor for the fourth consecutive year supports the EC Entrepreneurship program of the year.
