Elevators modernization, 2020- in progress
Simplex has started an elevator modernization project in one of Europe's best university hospitals - Charité in Berlin. A thorough reconstruction of 12 elevators is taking place from February to September 2020. During the modernization, the installation shaft, indicators, motors, control unit and other elevator components is changing in 3 assembly phases. The elevators are being modernized in the building central building called Bettenhochhaus. Charité is one of the most famous university hospitals in Europe, founded back in 1710. The hospital is an important medical and university center and more than half of all German Nobel Prize winners in physiology or medicine worked in a Charité.
