10 elevators with 14 stations Simplex has installed into one of the world's five largest cruisers, 348 meters long and capacity of 4900 passengers, owned by Royal Caribbean. The first Ultra-class vessel was built in Rostock, Germany, and installation of the elevator was taking place at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg. For Simplex, it was a special challenge to install elevators during the construction of a ship in shipyard. First Quantum Ultra class cruise ship, Spectrum of the Seas is designed specifically for the Chinese market.
